At the 2022 Titan Property Awards Season I, Mercurio Design Lab was presented a Platinum trophy for project Villa Lambda under the Architecture, Residential category. The accolade is the fourth Platinum win received by MDL from the said competition since 2019.

The luxury apartment and hotel project, which won the most beautiful iconic design in Vietnam 2021, is the craftsmanship of Italian designer Massimo Mercurio of Mercurio Design Lab. The project, a partnership between the no. 1 jeweler in Vietnam & the avant-garde Italian studio, is inspired by the beauty of the image of "Lotus Crown." Moreover, it is the first twin tower complex in Asia with a Diagrid Structural System, showcasing an outstanding and unique facade with LED lines embedded within the lattices. Villa Lambda won the topmost reward in the 2nd season of Muse Awards 2020. This is the second time in the year that Lambda was awarded with the highest recognition in Architecture category. Muse Design Awards honours design professionals of various expertise, whose works shoulder the weight of the future, despite the unknown. On September 7, 2020, Asia Pacific Property Awards announced the winners for the 2020 competition. Mercurio Design Lab was awarded with Five Star Best Architecture Single Residence Singapore and was nominated for Best Architecture Single Residence Asia Pacific Region for Villa Vento project. The Asia Pacific Property Awards, as part of the International Property Awards, is a highly prestigious awards programme and the best property accolade in the industry across the globe. This year’s event was participated by 27 countries from the Asia Pacific region with 1200 project entries.

Villa Otto by MDL received a Golden Award, the highest level of achievement in Architectural Design Category, in the recently concluded Novum Design Awards. Sunshine Empire of Sunshine Group was awarded with the “Policy of Investment Decision: Project with the Largest Total Investment Amount” at the Hanoi 2020 Investment Cooperation and Development Conference held on June 27. This mixed-use commercial complex which has a total investment of more than seven trillion dong has also won a Golden Prize during the National Urban Planning, organized by the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association (VUPDA) in collaboration with Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Mineral and Environment, and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry last April 25, 2019. Following the publisher’s success of ‘100 of the World's Best Houses’ series, this new release features the sensitivity of today's design practitioners to the natural environment and their attention to interior designs for a comfortable and practical everyday living.

Managing Director and Principal Designer of MDL, Massimo Mercurio, flew to Vietnam last October to present Sunshine Marina and Sunshine Empire projects to the local media. Sunshine Marina is a resort-real estate development that drew inspiration from Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands. It is set to rise on Nha Trang, and is about 27,300 sqm land area. Meanwhile, Sunshine Empire’s futuristic design inspiration was the Star Wars imperial cruiser. The site is a grand high-rise mix-used complex that is expected to become the number one financial center in Hanoi.

Indonesia-1 Tower was officially launched in a press conference at Bromo Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Jakarta on 27th August 2019, with speakers Tay Swee Eng, Project Director of CS Land, James Allan, President of JLL Indonesia, Arief Rahardjo, Director of Strategic Consulting of Cushman & Wakefield and Massimo Mercurio, Managing Director of Mercurio Design Lab.

Built in the center of Jakarta's Central Business District, precisely on Jalan MH Thamrin, and with a direct connection to the Bundaran HI MRT Station, this 303 meter high mixed-use development will be the tallest twin tower in Indonesia after its completion in 2021. The structure has two cubes that crown the tops of each of the towers. The northern cube is wrapped in a mesh screen and includes the residential component of the complex. The southern cube is a lightweight steel-and-glass structure and features the CS logo as a sculptural element symbolizing infinity, hinting the longevity of the company. It offers a skyline view, a restaurant, and private club.

A' Design Award is a premier annual juried design competition that honors the best designers, architects, engineers, design studios and design oriented companies worldwide to provide them publicity, fame and recognition. Wintastar Shanghai in China is among Mercurio Design Lab’s projects to be constructed; a ski resort with integrated sports, entertainment, leisure and travel features. Set to be the world’s largest indoor ski resort to open in Shanghai, it made headlines in British broadsheet The Telegraph, which wrote: "Behind the space-age facade of the building [ the interior draws] inspiration from European ski resorts, icebergs and the charm of the alps.”  Read more »

Mercurio Design Lab, an award-winning Italian design studio, received six prestigious recognitions in 2018. Silver A’ Design Awards were given to Amber Skye for the Architecture, Building and Structure Design Category - Medium Rise Residential; as well as the Cultural Exchange Center, for the Architecture, Building and Structure Design Category - Convention Centre. A Golden A’ Design Award, on the other hand, was handed to Mercurio Design Lab for Superstring at Hamilton Scotts. Amber Skye bragged another award as Winner for Residential High-Rise Architecture in Singapore at the prestigious International Property Awards for Asia Pacific. Villa Vento, meanwhile, was shortlisted for design et al’s International Architecture and Awards 2018 competition. Finally, our creative director Massimo Mercurio moved to #31 in DAC’s World’s Leading Designers ranking from last year’s #46.

Mercurio Design Lab expands its operation. The year 2018 saw the opening of a thirty-strong Manila office, A.M. Associates (Philippines). In addition, new offices were registered in Shanghai, China, as well as Hanoi, Vietnam all within the same year.
